Hand-scraped flooring was around centuries ago out of necessity but is now becoming the style of choice for many. Before current sanding methods, floors were hand-scraped on site to make the floors flat. Today, this style is used to add texture and richness to a home or commercial building.

With Ambiance Collection hand-scraped flooring, each plank is individually hand-sculpted by a craftsman to create a distinctive look. Since it is done by hand and not machine, each board has its own unique style. The problem with machine distressing is repetition of the pattern. The artistry of actual hand-scraping produces a natural feel to the floor and gives a distinguishing, luxurious look to your home.
