This correspondence is in regards to your request for an evaluation of the Ultraply Premium Underlayment. Small undulations were removed using Ultraply under Wilsonart® Flooring. Ultraply Premium Underlayment appears to aid in flattening wood subfloors when using the Wilsonart® Flooring floating floor method. The installation procedures of Ultraply were very straightforward. The product was very user friendly due to the ease of cutting the underlayment. Although the cutting can be achieved by using a utility knife or a saw, the utility knife was too simple.

Ultraply Premium Underlayment appears to have many uses in the flooring industry, and may be considered in many wood subfloor installations when floating Wilsonart® Flooring. Wood based materials would not be recommended on top of concrete slabs where Wilsonart® Flooring is used. Wilsonart® International Inc. is not able to endorse nor undertake the liability of, and will not be responsible for warranty issues with this product.
